Information we collect automatically
When you visit any page on this site, we record a basic page-view entry: the page you viewed, your IP address, your browser/device information (user agent), the site that referred you here (if any), and the time of the visit. This is collected directly by our own server — we do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any other third-party tracking or advertising script, and we do not use cookies to track you across sessions or other websites.
We use this information only to understand how the site is used (which pages matter, where visitors come from) and to operate and secure the site. It is visible only to our own admin team, not sold or shared with third parties.
Contact and Free Trial forms
When you submit our Contact or Free Trial form, the details you enter (name, business name, phone, email, product/service of interest, and anything you write in the requirement field) are saved to our database and emailed to our team at info@southsmart.in so we can follow up with you. We use this only to respond to your enquiry — it is not used for marketing to third parties or sold. You can also reach us directly via WhatsApp, phone, or email using the contact details shown on those pages.
Admin-managed content
Product images uploaded through our admin panel are stored via Vercel Blob storage. This is operational content we manage ourselves and is not personal data about site visitors.
Where data is stored
Page-view data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon) and the site itself is hosted on Vercel. Both are infrastructure providers who host data on our behalf under their own security practices; they do not independently use or sell this data.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about a specific visit (e.g. from a specific IP address) or ask us to delete it, by writing to info@southsmart.in. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
This website is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
